Dreamwell Theatre presents 4.48 Psychosis written by Sarah Kane and directed by Eric Marlin Nov. 8, 9, 15 & 16, at 7:30pm, 120 N. Dubuque St. (in the basement of the Wesley Center).
Synopsis: A woman is in a battle with her own mind. She craves understanding. She seeks it from her doctor, her lover, and from the audience watching her. Through fragmentary, nonlinear scenes, 4.4.8 Psychosis excavates the horrors of depression, and presents a radically empathetic portrait of what it means to struggle with suicidal thoughts.
