QueertopIA, an evening of entertainment
March 30, 2024, 7:30 pm, at The James Theater.

Dreamwell Theatre and Pride Alliance Center are planning QueertopIA for March 30, 2024. We’re looking for performers to help us fill the stage with LGBTQ+ voices! All types of acts are welcome, and content is up to you. Ideally, acts should be 5-10 minutes long. Whether you are an actor, singer, dancer, musician, puppeteer, comedian, storyteller, artist or group of your own making, we want to give you an opportunity to express yourself.

People from all walks of life are welcome to participate in this celebration. Because we recognize that queer black, indigenous, and people of color are denied opportunities to speak from a platform, priority will be given to folks who hold these identities.

We’re also in search of organizers, designers, artists, and stage technicians to help us make this event a success.

Fifty percent of the proceeds from this evening will be given to a local, non profit, queer organization that has yet to be determined. Please help us expand our knowledge, and our roster of excellent, local, queer resources by way of a suggestion. (With permission, we will also compile the suggestions and share this list of resources at the show).
