Dreamwell opens its season with Samuel Beckett's classic absurdist tragi-comedy. Two tramps, Vladimir and Estragon meet near a bare tree on a country road. They wait for the promised arrival of Godot, who is never clearly identified. Many have suggested that Godot is "God", but Beckett himself said, "If I knew who Godot was, I would have said so in the play."
