Auditions Announced for July Show, Soldiers Daughter

Auditions have also been set for the July show, Soldier’s Daughter, Sunday, May 22 at 1 pm and Monday, May 23 at 6:30 pm at the Iowa City Public Library, Room A.

No preparation is required.

The show dates are July 15, 16, 22, 23. The show will be presented at Country Camp, a farm outside of Iowa City. The concept is a collaborative show where different writers create short playlets based around a different theme. The overarching storyline is a soldier returning from war to tell his daughter stories that he feels are important for her to know. Each of the playlets will be one of the stories. The show is performed promenade style as audience will follow the action to different sites on the farm.
