4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane
(tentative dates Nov. 8, 9, 15, & 16)

Stark and moving, the play serves as a subjective interpretation of clinical depression (a condition with which the playwright was intimately familiar.) The script is unconventional in that it has no explicit setting, characters or stage directions; its experimental structure allows the director and performers a great deal of interpretive and creative leeway, as the ensemble finds their own unique, personal version of the author’s text.
